In FAI properties*, from the North to the South of the Peninsula, opening hours will be extraordinarily extended to offer a unique experience: continue visiting until sunset to enjoy the special atmosphere of summer evenings with a wide range of special initiatives. More than 300 events are scheduled, including aperitifs and picnics at sunset, concerts and shows under the stars, short astronomy lessons, cultural meetings at sunset, trekking and guided walks at dusk to discover the beauty-rich territories surrounding FAI properties. 

Among the many novelties and curiosities of the Sere FAI d’Estate (FAI Summer Evenings) are the exceptional evening openings of the Memoriale Brion, Carlo Scarpa’s masterpiece, immersed in the Treviso countryside. The gardens of Palazzo Moroni, the largest private park in Bergamo’s Upper Town, will host the Pellicole d’autore en plein air (Auteur films en plein air) event with the screening of six films selected for their quality, while the park of Villa Panza will be the setting for the Ars Sonora concerts with contemporary sounds in dialogue with the art collection housed in the Varese mansion. The travel writings of Agatha Christie and other courageous authors will be the focus of an unprecedented evening of readings at the Bosco di San Francesco, while at Villa dei Vescovi one can enjoy aperitifs in the vineyards surrounded by the Euganean Hills. There will also be the cult “Astronomers for a night” in various FAI properties, starry sky observations guided by experts and astrophiles.
