Our webinars series to enjoy Italy from home

3 May 2021

Since March, we have had the opportunity to attend several webinars organised by FAI in a new series entitled Postcards from Italy – Tales from the world of FAI

The lockdown period, which we can now start to leave behind us, gave us all an opportunity to enjoy online events of all kinds. After an overview of many FAI properties last autumn and winter, FAI has organised a new series of webinars which focused on several collections and properties to remind us of the day-to-day work of the Trust and its staff, which is always going on. From the Italian Places I Love project, to the documentary film on Giuseppe Panza di Biumo, to the Guido Sforni Collection at Villa Necchi Campiglio and an Imaginary journey of a Medieval Knight in the Land of Puglia and at the Abbazia di Santa Maria di Cerrate, the series will end on May 26 with a webinar on the Olivetti collection at MoMA and the Olivetti Shop in Piazza San Marco, Venice.

If you have missed some past webinars, see our FAI Channel International Playlist.

Paintings, sculptures, gardens, houses… all are there ready to welcome us as soon as international travel resumes. Here is an opportunity to learn more about FAI’s activities and needs to continue in its mission to preserve the most wonderful country in the world!
