This summer, FAI properties will stay open late into the evening, offering an extraordinary series of special events and unforgettable experiences across the country.

Villa del Balbianello and Villa Fogazzaro Roi have been the focus of an important conservation campaign: historical fabrics, antique carpets, and leather items were entrusted to specialized restorers who carried out restoration and maintenance work, both in the workshop and directly at the properties.

2024 was an intense year full of challenges: from the inauguration of two new properties to the improvement of the visitor experience, and even the most demanding restoration projects, which are a prelude to the inaugurations of 2025, the year of FAI’s 50th anniversary.

For FAI’s 50th anniversary, 750 sites of history, art, and nature in 400 locations welcomed hundreds of thousands of people on the weekend of March 22nd and 23rd during the FAI Spring Days, the most important public event dedicated to the cultural and landscape heritage of our country.

On the occasion of Christmas 2024, FAI invites you to experience the magic of this time of year in its properties open to the public, special places that testify to the extraordinary wealth and variety of culture and landscape that Italy expresses.

Arcangelo Sassolino‘s “La condizione del desiderio” (The Condition of Desire) is on display at Villa e Collezione Panza in Varese. This monumental installation is the result of a close dialogue between art and science, and inaugurates a new cycle of exhibitions with site-specific works.

FAI’s commitment to greater inclusiveness and cultural accessibility continues with Palazzo Moroni in Bergamo. The Palazzo is the 12th FAI property that has been made accessible to visitors with intellectual disabilities as part of the “FAI property for everyone” project.
