As part of our online activities during the pandemic, we have been organising a series of Zoom meetings in collaboration with FAI since the beginning of June. These meetings gave us the chance to spend quality time together and, above all, to have an insight view on FAI’s work and areas of expertise, explained by those in charge of them.
The first topic covered was FAI Media Strategy. We had the great opportunity to listen to Maurizio Vento (Head of FAI communication), that explained the key role of communication during these difficult times. His captivating speech was supported by a rich presentation made just for FAI UK audience, that illustrated how he and his team succeeded in delivering a high-quality online media campaign during lockdown.
The second topic discussed was the acquisition policy of FAI, together with two focuses on Casa Bortoli in Venezia and Palazzo Moroni in Bergamo. These virtual trips into these beautiful properties were anticipated by a visit to Villa Valmarana with the guide of Carolina Valmarana, as a preview of the trip to Ville Venete that we had to move to 2021.
The next subject to be covered will be the Environment. This is a very important aspect of FAI’s mission which has become even more topical at the time of the pandemic.
On the 16th of July at 5pm (UK time), The world after Covid-19: FAI’s approach towards environmental sustainability with Maurizio Rivolta, FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano’s Vice President and Daniele Meregalli, Manager of FAI’s Environment Office and Head of FAI’s “Environmental Sustainable Properties” Project.
